Let me tell you a little bit about my Faith walk…

I feel I was fortunate enough to grow up in a Christian home, where we attended church on a regular basis. This allowed me the opportunity as a young age to be involved with the youth group. There are many good memories of Mission Trips, Sunday Night outings, Lock-Ins and Fundraisers. I was blessed to have a lot of really close friends in my youth group.

That is not to say at times I didn’t feel left out or the odd man out, but I think any kid that age does at some point in time. Unfortunately, as I started High School, church became not as important to me.. and I quit going on a regular basis. I became a Chreaster (Christmas/Easter only goer). During my college years, I always felt like something was missing from my life and I just couldn’t figure out what it was…

Finally, after a weekend of going out with friends and partying… I started to figure out what was missing. I was missing my walk with God. I missed going to church. But, I did not know where or how to get back into going to church. I prayed and prayed for God to give me a way to get back into church and the help me grow closer to Him and to find a Godly man to spend my life with. Well God answered my prayers and Jesse came into my life. As Jesse and I started dating, I started going back to church with him and his family. This was my answered prayer.
